About this product
Blue Alpine’s Rev 2 power PCB board (part E00130-00) is a green circuit board carrying a relay and an orange multi-way terminal block. It sells for $74.28. Treat it as a board that may carry mains voltage, which is why the safety section below comes first.

Read this before you open the panel
Handle any power PCB board as if it could be live. Unplug the freeze dryer at the outlet, because the power switch alone doesn’t count. Then wait a few minutes. Some circuits hold a charge in their capacitors for a while after the power’s gone. Don’t touch the board or the terminal block until you’ve done both.
If you aren’t comfortable working around line-voltage wiring, hand this one to a qualified electrician or appliance technician. A wire in the wrong position can cost more than the board.
Rev 2: match the marking
“Rev 2” is the board revision named in this listing. Manufacturers bump the revision when they change a design, and the differences aren’t always visible. Look for a revision mark and part number in the silkscreen on your old board, or find E00130-00 in the parts list of your manual. Don’t assume a power PCB board with a different revision swaps straight in. If yours is marked differently, call or message us before ordering.
The relay and the orange terminal block
A relay is an electrically operated switch. A small current through its coil pulls a set of contacts closed (or open), and those contacts switch a separate circuit. Many relays click when they change state. The terminal block is simpler: a row of clamps, each holding one wire. On this board it’s orange, with several positions side by side. If you want background on how boards like this are made, Wikipedia’s printed circuit board article is a decent read.
Transferring the wires
Photograph the terminal block from directly above, close enough to read each wire’s color and position. Take a second shot from the side. If some positions on the block are empty, note which ones. Then move the wires across one at a time. Free one from the old block, fit it into the same position on the new power PCB board, and tug it gently before you touch the next. Done that way, a mix-up is very unlikely.
Check each wire end as you go. A stray strand poking out of one terminal can touch the next. Trim it, or twist the strands back together. Don’t crank down on any clamp screws, either. Firm is plenty, and too much force can cut strands or crack the block.
Unplug any other connectors from the old power PCB board by their housings, releasing latches first. Ground yourself on bare metal before handling either board, and hold them by the edges. Keep the new power PCB board in its anti-static bag until the moment you fit it. The old one can go in that bag afterward, which is handy if you need to photograph it for us later.

Power PCB board questions
Can I replace just the relay?
Not from us. We sell the power PCB board as a complete part, and the relay isn’t listed separately.
The new board is in and nothing changed. Now what?
Go back to your photos and compare every wire position. Check that each connector is fully seated and latched, and that no strand is bridging two terminals. If all of that’s right, the fault is likely somewhere else, and swapping parts at random gets expensive fast. Tell us the symptom, what happens at power-up, and any error message you see.
How do I confirm it’s the right board?
Match the part number and revision first. Then compare your old board with our photo: where the relay sits, the orange terminal block, the number of connectors. If anything looks different, send photos of both sides through the contact page or call +1 (443) 514-5708, and we’ll check it against our listing. Cables, boards and switches are all in our freeze dryer electronics category.
